భూమికి అధిక స్థాయిలో ప్రాణ‌వాయువును అందించే అమెజాన్ అడవులు... ఇటీవల కాలంలో తరచుగా అగ్నిప్రమాదాలకు గురవుతున్నాయి. బ్రెజిల్‌లో ఉన్న ఈ వన్య ప్రాంతం ప్రతి ఏడాది రికార్డు స్థాయిలో ద‌గ్ధం అవుతోంది. గతేడాదితో పోలిస్తే ఈ సంవత్సరం దాదాపు 85 శాతం ఎక్కువగా మంటలకు ఆహుతైందని అమెరికా అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధన సంస్థ (నాసా) వెల్ల‌డించింది. ప‌ర్యావ‌ర‌ణ వేత్త‌లు, శాస్త్ర‌వేత్త‌లు, సెల‌బ్రిటీలు, రాజ‌కీయ నాయ‌కులు ఈ విషయంపై స్పందిస్తున్నారు. ఇప్ప‌టికైనా మేల్కొని అమెజాన్‌ని కాపాడుకుందామని పిలుపునిస్తున్నారు. తాజాగా టాలీవుడ్ హీరోలు మహేశ్ బాబు, అల్లు అర్జున్, సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ నెటిజన్లకు సోషల్మీడియా వేదికగా సందేశాన్నిచ్చారు.
